As an Anderson Mill resident for over 15
years, I would be honored to serve the neighborhood as a
Director. My qualifications and experience include handling many difficult and controversial projects in the municipal/public sector. I have project experience with all MUD functions including: water/wastewater, parks/pools, and solid waste management. As Project Manager for the Austin Public Works Department, my negotiation skills and scope refinements routinely save City taxpayers several hundred thousand dollars annually. My priorities are: Return the majority of the $10,000,000.00 Limited District fund to the taxpayers. This fund’s function is to artificially deflate the proposed future tax rate to entice voters to approve the Limited District. The residents must know the true costs of the Limited District on their future tax bills in order to decide whether to approve it. Getting your money back is a bonus. Work proactively with the City to ensure our area receives appropriate amenities. Discontinue MUD letters concerning questionable “deed restriction violations”. Green initiatives and government transparency. Repeal MUD action granting the MUD General Manager authority to enter your property. This is a questionable legal interpretation of water law and a violation of your personal privacy. |
